Specialised in managing major CAPEX projects and working with shipyards Worldwide – retrofit Energy Saving Devices, hull coating technologies, BWTS technologies, dual-fuel engines, and asphalt tankers.

Has extensive experience conducting surveys of all types of commercial vessels as well as offshore support vessels. In particular, operations and maintenance of asphalt tankers/bitumen carriers as superintendent engineer as well as heavy crude – boscan crude, high flashpoint, tanker operations and maintenance.

]]> Vangelis is a Chartered Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with over 15-years’ experience in the shipping industry, including 10 years in the wet cargo sector as Technical Fleet Manager.

Has extensive experience in the day-to-day technical management of bulk carriers, heavy lifts and tankers (IMO I/II/III), including vetting inspections, ISM/TMSA audits, drydock management and supervision.  Has previously managed layup and re-activation projects for a fleet of bulk carriers in Labuan, Malaysia, and Jamaica. 

Vangelis is an experienced Marine Surveyor specialising in H&M, P&I, pre-purchase, due diligence, and suitability surveys of all types of vessels.  Has been involved in numerous marine claims and disputes, having dealt with casualties such as groundings, collisions, machinery, propeller damage, and general average claims.

]]> Chartered Naval Architect and member of RINA with over ten years of experience in the maritime industry. Before joining ABL, worked as technical superintendent responsible for all aspects of day-to-day technical management and dockings of a fleet of handysize bulk carriers. 

Started her career with LOC based in the UK and held positions in Italy, China and Singapore, focusing on casualty response, marine claims and disputes. Acted as company representative during salvage/wreck removal operations for a number of projects in Europe and Asia. Provided advice on cases including groundings, collisions, sinkings, container loss, and mooring failures and worked on-site to support marine casualties providing technical support and cost control.

Has extensive experience in Hull & Machinery claims, having provided advice on numerous casualties, supervised repairs and assisted in shipyard negotiations. Attended many marine operations acting as Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) for lifting, load out and transportation of heavy and high-value cargo.
