]]> Alexander has over nine years of sea-going experience, serving on cape-size bulk carriers, reefer vessels and yachts. He ended his carrier as a Chief Engineer and held the position of Technical Superintendent for more than three years. Alexander joined ABL-Group (formerly BMT Marine, Braemar Marine and AqualisBraemar) in Varna in 2006 and has served as a Marine Surveyor across Europe and the Caspian Sea region on behalf of Underwriters and P&I Clubs for more than 16 years. He specialises in technical investigations, consultancy, Marine Warranty surveys and ship repairs.

Alexander is part of ABL Yachts team of surveyors with specific expertise in yacht and superyacht surveys.

Alexander holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Marine Engineering and holds a 1st Class Marine Engineer’s certificate of competency. He also holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Materials Science and Technology Engineering from the Technical University Varna and a Diploma for Marine Accident investigation from Lloyds Maritime Academy & North Kent College.

]]> Alexandar is a Master Mariner and has over 20 years of maritime experience in the commercial shipping industry. During this time, he sailed up to the rank of Master, gaining experience on tankers and offshore vessels.

Alexandar joined ABL-Group (formerly Braemar Marine and AqualisBraemar) in Varna in 2016 and serves as a Marine Surveyor across the Europe and Caspian Sea region, on behalf of Underwriters and P&I Clubs for more than 6 years.

Experienced in conducting Hull and Machinery damage and condition surveys, investigation of marine incidents/accidents, various Marine Warranty surveys – towage approvals, jack up rig move, load-outs/offloads, cargo surveys and cargo claim handling on behalf of Owners, Terminals and P&I Clubs.
